Solomon : “If we don’t work for future generations, earth will have nothing left at all”

Below are Solomon’s wonderful and powerful words on perseverance and conservation (again remember, there was no one to pay for Solomon’s education. He is self-taught):

If you are interested to do something, which it will be remembered you must work hard but remember everything you do you must meet allot of challenges. It’s to dedicating to do but you must do good things. More to be remembered, is to save any live being: animals or people, but you will meet with challenges on the way. My advice never give up despite more pain you will face allot. Be ready to face it and when you are doing well you will have a few good friends many will discuss you. But don’t mind. All what we’re doing is to save animals. Don’t expect to have many friends becouse many of us we don’t have anything to enjoyed our life we are poor. Only one thing we have: interest, which coming from in our hearts and that is the passion. If you see us don’t Hate us, we  like what we are doing for the future generations – if we don’t, earth will be nothing left all! Conservation groups and individuals continue with your good work God bless you .I know all what we go through. Its very painful to save our mother nature . Thank you all conservationist friends all over the world

Coming home late one evening in a matatu (Kenyan van transport), when Solomon got out, three other men got out and followed him. When they were away from any other people, the three men attacked and beat up Solomon, breaking his knee. They tried to twist his neck to kill him. Suddenly a dog barked, and the three men ran away. Solomon didn’t die that night but those men wanted to stop Solomon from saving the Colobus. The men had been paid to kill him. We have no idea of the challenges Solomon is talking about … but this story can put us in the picture.
